Antin Manastyrskyi was invited to decorate the Zhovtansi Dormition Ukrainian Catholic Church in 1919. War interupted the completion.
From 1936-1939 Ukrainian artists T.Baran and Romaniuk continued the project.

On July 29, 2004 this church was commemorated by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada.
No longer consecrated, the tireless work
of several individuals will keep
this church alive as a
National Heritage Site.
"Побудована між 1936 і 1939 роками, церква Воскресіння є гордим свідченням культурної і духовної сили українських поселенців в околицях Давфину. Цю "катедру прерій" запроєктував один із перших будівничих українських церков у Канаді монсеньйор Філіп Ру, Ч.О., а інтер'єр розписав мистець Теодор Баран у 1957 - 1958 рр. Архітектура церкви з її багатьма куполами і характерним інтер'єром базується на архітектурі київських церков в Україні та на століттях традиції візантійської іконографії."
