The Sonechko Ukrainian Bilingual Daycare Centre will bring an opportunity to the city of Saskatoon and surrounding area for first class Ukrainian/English Bilingual Daycare education. Planning for this Bilingual Daycare Centre has been two years in the making by a group of dedicated individuals from Saskatoon's thriving Ukrainian community. Teaming up with Bishop Filevich Ukrainian Bilingual School from the Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Division will provide a natural partnership for the Bilingual Daycare Centre. The school, located in the Sutherland area of Saskatoon was the first Ukrainian-English elementary school in the province of Saskatchewan.
